Site Survey and Plan
The first step to assure that your RFID installation is successful is to test and understand how radio waves propagate in your environment. Acquiring this scientific data will give immediate in-sight into the most optimal design for your RFID infrastructure build-out. A thorough upfront assessment of the environment, sources of interference if any, and composition of items to be tracked will save much time in the overall execution of the project. ComponentSoft has a team of highly-qualified RFID professionals that are well-versed in RFID technology. By doing a thorough time motion study you gain understanding of how people and goods move throughout a company. The process by which your company operates is intricately tied to read rate success. Through a series of discussions with our client ComponentSoft consultants will gain and understanding of the business environment and requirements. The requirements are analyzed and a detailed plan is tailored to the requirements with performance indicators and expected value at project completion.

Design and Pilot Test:
Information gained in the previous steps is distilled to specific use cases that document the business process, production/logistics environment, product flow, integration messages, exception handling and user notification. This process is done with the client to ensure expectations and to confirm findings. A test system is designed with software and hardware to the desired RFID topology

 Integrate and Test
There are various levels of integration between the RFID process and the clients internal architecture (ERP, WMS) that can be achieved. Integration requirements are defined within the set of use cases.

Implement
The tested system is deployed at the client site, then scaled by adding more nodes, readers and antennas. End-to-end testing is done with each iterative build-out of the production phase to ensure original intended operation is in tack.
